Mi2 Challenge
This was tough for me! After a couple of throw aways, I simplified the pattern slightly (without knowing it) and completed it. Can't wait to see the rest. I am always humbled with the talent in these challenges.
I think this is a great tangle and you are too hard on yourself. I kept trying to find the "simplification" you referred to, and I don't see it. It's lovely.

What a yummy, yep yummy rendition of Mi2! I love the gorgeous curves and it is fantastic!
I love the dark diamond shapes in the pattern-they give so much depth to the design-lovely work
I like the zipper-look of the curvy bits. If I tilt my head to the left, it looks like you've got mi2 peeking out from behind some curtains. Nifty!

it's perfect!! you've done brilliantly
Gives me a 3 D effect.
I love your composition, your did a great job! I love it! :)
Your Mi2 is so bold and exact! Very nice work. I also like the heavy line framing the tangles. Tangle on!
This is neat! It looks "unzipped" and I really like the "duck feet" on the left side.
I think it's great--love the 'unveiling' feeling of it. Beautiful job!
This looks like an beautiful intricate paper cut-out to me, it's so lacy and fragile looking.
I like how Mi2 looks as if its about to be zippered up.
It looks very good, love the loops it makes Mi2 look great. Keep up the good work.
this looks great, susan! i love the zippered look opening up to the Mi2 - very creative and it works!
