My hedgehog in a skirt |
Hello blogging friends. We are heaving a sigh of relief, Isaac has passed us by with relatively few affects. Actually, tropical storm Debby impacted us more than Isaac did. We were lucky again and look forward to the end of "hurricane season" in November.
Our challenge from the Diva this week was to shut our eyes (lose control) and draw our string. I did it but then fudged a bit when I saw a paisley in my result. One line had to go so I could do my paisley.
So...how did I come up with a hedgehog in a skirt? I have NO idea, but I am sticking with it.
This was fun. Thanks Laura!

Lovely work, your line work if Fab! I really enjoy how you enhanced your string.
I love the way this one turned out!
Oh this orange line just finishes of doesn't it.
Happy to read you are ok. I saw some images of Isaac on the news just now :(
Nice work, love this kind of art, I feel it so relaxing dodeling like this. Think it came out wonderful.
looks great. love the way you have defined the string in yellow.
That's the cutest hedgehog in a skirt I have ever seen!
gorgeous! love the trailing hearts on top.
:) Looks like you did a great job dressing your hedgehog!
Hehe, hedgehogs are wonderful, and so is your tangle!!
or maybe it is a porcupine! I am glad to hear you are all safe from flooding, etc. My sister lives in Alexandria, LA and so far they are fine, too. Cool idea to outline your string in color! Those "boxes" at the bottom are hard to figure out without the step-ups!
I love it--very fun and flirty! And I super love the Harley Love posts and pics above!!! What a cutie!!! Glad to hear Isaac spared you as well =0)
This drawing makes me really want to revisit using a string to start. For some reason it always trips me up. I think I get too constrained by the string.
