I have had some fun with this and now I think it is about ready to head off to my granddaughter.
And before I dispose of the stencil, I will have a little more fun with an "elephant hide" yupo I made months ago. I never found the "perfect" elephant for the hide so this was the result.
This is acrylic on yupo and before it dried I added some alcohol. Nice affect if you want to create a foam or frothy look.
Hoping you all are having a great week. Happy PPF

Love your elephants, and the texture you have created is wonderful. Valerie
Love that you experiment with new stuff. I like to do that too. I am stuck on Gel mediums and the translucent effects of layering and layering color and texture. Happy PPF ! -Kat-
Love your elephants. You do great at trying new things. I'd love to be able to craft with you. But I will just have to settle for enjoying what you show us.

Your granddaughter will be happy for your lovely elephants!
Your colourful elephant with its baby are superb, and that's a really good background for them, not plain, but the pattern doesn't detract at all from the elephants.
These elephants are wonderful and I love that effect you got with yupo and acrylic.
Love your elephants! :-)
Happy PPF

love the elephants and especially that yupo paper-all I think of is the ocean!
Oh, that baby-elephant is so so cute, and I love the colours! Your yupo-pieces are gorgeous!
I didn't know you could change an acrylic painting by adding a frothy look! Thank you for the tip. I love your artwork. It is truly lovely. The elephant made me smile.
Your granddaughter will love this!!!! Very nicely done. I too like the alcohol effect.
