This week in Barbara Simmon's art class at the Art Center of Manatee
we did silk scarf painting without the scarf.
We did a sketch of our subject, outlined it with rubber cement
and then painted each petal and leaf. When all was dry, we wet the background and did our background. These were not acrylics but rather ink. We used the wet in wet watercolor process.
I love the vivid colors!
When all was dry, we removed the rubber cement with a frisket remover.
What do you think???
