Am loving the color...

I have been playing around with color the last couple of weeks.
Initially, I used dye on watercolor paper for a nice vivid result

After some negative glazing,  I was pleased with the result.
And then I switched to yupo.
This is a completely new experience for me and the color.

Interesting how the color reacts.

Oh, I am really liking how the color worked here.
There are some beautiful interactions.
I think I need to try some more yupo
Not sure where I go from here but I love the color reactions.
Maybe some of you have had some experience on yupo.
I would love to hear about it.
Wishing you a Happy PPF

Not sure what Yupo is but I like the results as your colors mix and blend and coordinate with each other.

What is Yupo? You have achieved some very interesting colour mixes with it. In your pictures it looks stringy, or is that some sort of resist you have used? Please explain your process and what Yupo is.

What fun! I love the 3rd piece. I've never heard of yupo but plan to do a lot of indigo and procion MX dyeing this summer so I'll have to do some research on yupo and find out what that's all about. Thanks for the inspiration.

How on earth did you create those textures on the yupo? I love it! That first piece is also beautifully pleasing in color and composition.

Wow - that is absolutely stunning. And it definitely feels like summer. I see even more experimenting with papers in my future - me and my gelli have lots to learn! Thanks for the visit.
