Summer Heat

Florida has been hot and humid the past couple of weeks
Summer arrived with a vengeance, early.
It is kind of funny how the weather affects my art.
In my ink on watercolor project

I chose hot, hot colors.
This is a WIP.  You can see I have only started the
negative glazing in the top right.

And then the other night I was sketching and this old desert guy showed up.

Wishing you a cool Paint Party Friday!

Love both these. The colours are so good in your watercolour project, and what a great drawing of the desert guy.

Both pieces are wonderful. The desert guy looks worried to me. Does he remind you of someone. I am always fascinated when something new just shows up in my work. I love the bright summer colors you used in your first piece. Have a great weekend.

I love the hot colors you used.
And your sketch of the desert man is really great! I love his expression.

The colours in your watercolour are lovely, jut right for the weather. Maybe its been so hot and humid that the guy showed up thinking he was in the desert! Lost his way somewhat though! lol
