More backgrounds

Another background on yupo awaiting inspiration.
I love using different techniques but have a difficult time figuring out what I am doing with them.

This one finally evolved into

This
Which became this...cobblestones in Lisbon

I did these two backgrounds this afternoon.  They are paint on wet yupo.  The one with purple, I used plastic on the paint and smushed it around.  The one with red, I used crunched up wax paper on it.
I love watching the colors work together.
Wishing you all a happy PPF!

Lovely. Have you ever tried Twinkling H2O's on Yupo? It gives the most stunning results.

I love using alcohol inks on yupo and using paper on it to make different effect too. Although I must say they can give me a raging headache unless I do them outside. Fabulous effects. Happy PPF

I understand you don't know what to do with your gorgeous backgrounds. They are almost too beautiful to do anything else with. But I do love your cobblestones :-)

HI Susan - thanks for your comments, I came straight to your blog. I had just last night decided to try my wet acrylics - which I use on the light shades - on the yupo. And yours look wonderful So cut yourself a little frame and run it along the paper and you will find some glorious little pictures. Those are what show when I weave. My 'frames' vary from 2" square to 8"
